BoMax hit by major fire

On 16 December, BoMax was struck by a very large and intense fire, as a result of which the company premises were largely destroyed. Fortunately, no personal injuries occurred; there was no one in the building at the time the fire broke out. Nevertheless, the damage is enormous.

The office section, located at the front of the building, has been completely lost. The production hall behind it has also suffered severe damage, and the machinery has not been spared. An assessment is currently under way to determine what, if anything, can still be salvaged.

Teamspirit
Although an event like this has a major impact and leaves no one unaffected, the BoMax team spirit is certainly still intact—stronger than ever! Our absolute intention is therefore to continue with BoMax, so that we will soon once again be there for both existing and new customers, as reliable and professional as always, and stronger than ever.

Temporary location
Our first priority is to find a (temporary) location from which we can continue our core activities. In the meantime, we are working on the replacement—and where possible, the repair—of the most essential business assets, such as machines, tools, office equipment, etc. In the coming period, we will also be very busy dealing with many other matters that will require a considerable amount of time.

Resumption of business activities
At this point, it is difficult to estimate when we will be able to (partially) resume normal business operations. We trust that both our existing customers and suppliers will be understanding in this regard.
